VISIT OF THE NEWLY APPOINTED AMBASSADOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA TO MONTENEGRO

President of the Executive Council of the AP Vojvodina, Bojan Pajtić LLM received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Montenegro, Mr. Zoran Lutovac.
During the meeting, they concluded that enhancement of the overall cooperation between Serbia and Montenegro represented their common interest. As it was stated on that occasion, enhancement of cooperation in the region and healthy economic relations represent a necessary key factor and significant contribution to achievement of overall interests, which should be developed at the level of international community.

President Pajtić pointed out that past cooperation between the AP Vojvodina and Montenegro had had a positive direction, particularly in the area of establishing cultural ties. Montenegro as an attractive tourist destination has many things to offer tourists from Vojvodina and Serbia, while in economic sense and considering their economic potentials, Serbia with the Province of Vojvodina and their existence in the Montenegrin market, have a reason to keep a position of the key partner.
The succeeding Ambassador to Montenegro, Mr. Zoran Lutovac stressed out: “Present needs and interests connecting Serbia and Montenegro should be a solid basis for further development of cooperation”. In particular, he stressed out the significance of scientific networking and cooperation in education in establishing of good relations.

At the end of the meeting, President Pajtić pointed out that in traditional spirit of the Province, we would strive towards enhancement of overall ties and relations with other regions, which puts Vojvodina in a leading position, as far as positive European examples are concerned.
The meeting was also attended by the Member of the Executive Council of the AP Vojvodina in charge of regional and international cooperation, Mr. Predrag Grgić.
